Cork and Table serves refined food in an intimate, unpretentious setting in Historic Downtown Fredericksburg, engaging guests through innovative menus designed around carefully selected wine pairings, drawn from the most dynamic winemaking regions throughout the world. We tailor the experience to the needs of each table, providing attentive and responsive service with our gluten-free, vegan, and ovo-lacto vegetarian menu options.

Our Chef/Owner, James Fallon, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America who has been certified by the Washington Sommelier Society, has developed a full range of a la carte menu options but his specialty lies in crafting three and four course fixed price menus, both available with wine pairings. Moreover, for the ultimate Cork and Table experience, we recommend trying the Chef’s six course tasting menu, where he pairs his classic dishes with unique wine selections.

Also important to note are our special event dinners and tastings, the schedule for which is featured on our Events page. The dinners have evolved over the years into a series of five courses with five or six wines from a winery or region and feature expert guests who provide insight and clarification into the wines being served. Additionally, we offer wine tasting events, which feature a simple, yet elegant four course option and a format which is fun and lively for large as well as small groups.

For the value-conscious diner, our fixed price dinners represent a significant cost savings and do so in a manner which allows the customer to find the individual experience they would like to create. Likewise, every Tuesday evening, both our three and four course fixed price menus are offered at a discount.

We also host private events, from twelve guests celebrating a birthday or retirement to thirty five guests for a rehearsal dinner or an office Christmas party.

Due to the extensive challenges we face in our community with Food Insecurity, Cork and Table has committed itself to addressing this fundamental need by partnering with the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, which serves as the regional hub for the distribution of resources, in order to support its valuable work throughout the area.

For every retail wine purchase made by our customers, we will donate 10% of the transaction directly to the Food Bank. For example, each $20 wine sale will generate a $2 donation to those in need, enabling the Food Bank to provide 20 meals to families, children, the elderly and others facing the challenge of tackling the ever increasing living costs of today.

For more information about the organization’s activities and the ways in which we can all assist them in their effort to eliminate hunger in our community, we encourage you to visit their website https://www.fredfood.org/
